Electrical Engineer (x2)

Moran Engineering and Electrical Ltd is currently expanding and is seeking experienced, safety-focused, and highly motivated Electrical Engineers to join our growing project teams across Papua New Guinea.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, review, and oversee electrical systems for engineering, construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and workplace safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and quality project execution.
• Identify technical risks and provide practical engineering solutions to site and project challenges.
• Monitor project progress and support continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, industrial, mining, utilities, or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, site operations, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Willingness to work on project sites across PNG.
